Victorian Lampshades and Antique Lamp Pairings
Elegance Lamps specializes in handcrafted Victorian lampshades, offered individually or paired with carefully restored antique lamp bases. Shade forms include traditional Victorian silhouettes such as bell, dome, and multi-panel constructions, interpreted through historic textiles and period-informed detailing.
Antique lamp bases are original pieces selected for structural integrity, proportion, and compatibility with each lampshade design. Pairings are assembled individually, with close attention to balance, scale, and long-term use.
Materials, Techniques, and Design Approach
Materials used in these works may include antique and vintage silks, historic lace, embroidered textiles, hand-dyed trims, and custom beadwork. Many materials are no longer manufactured, making exact replication impossible.
