Functional Art by Crystal Hayes
Elegance Lamps is the studio practice of Crystal Hayes, a Seattle-based artist and maker specializing in handcrafted Victorian lampshades. Each piece is designed and made individually, using rare and historic materials, and may be offered on its own or paired with a carefully restored antique lamp base.
As a single-maker studio, Crystal personally designs and constructs every lampshade, ensuring that each finished work is both visually striking and structurally sound. The result is one-of-a-kind functional art created for everyday living.
