“Plumeria” by Elegance Lamps is a confection! The handmade silk Victorian lampshade is created with sumptuous hand-dyed silk and gorgeous antique textiles in gentle yellow, pink, and sage tones. Finished with a sparkling antique glass bugle bead trim that looks like sugar coating!
The hand-strung beadwork includes a single layer of vintage bugle beads, and a secondary layer with staggered Swarovski glass pearls that transition in color from white to soft pink, to peach to soft green. The beads glow spectacularly when lit, beneath the soft warm glow of the shade.
The cast metal antique 1920's base has been restored by a certified electrician, with new UL Listed hardware, a standard socket and pull chain switching. The base is artfully hand-painted to match the shade, in tones of rose gold, champagne highlights and stunning pale yellow-to-pink detail, with hints of pearlescent green.
