Ivory Luxury Lamp & Victorian Lampshade
Designed for maximum neutral light output, this luxury lamp features a stunning antique lamp base, interesting textures, and exacting handmade details. This lamp delivers true functionality with style.
The silk Victorian lampshade is hand-sewn and features the softest antique silk lace I have ever seen, in a delicate floral pattern. The front and back of the shade feature antique floral embroideries, which I enhanced with Swarovski glass pearls, and overlaid with antique metal net in sparkling gold. Each large panel features a floral design with slight variation—flowers are all closed on one side, and one flower is open on the other, for choice in display. The tassels are handmade by me, and are embellished with antique metal lace in bronze, and tiny glass pearls are sewn by hand to each tassel. A significant amount of handwork was put into the lampshade—all beads, nets, silks, and tassels are sewn by hand.
The vintage lamp base features metalwork scrolls, original finish, a handmade pull-chain jewel featuring vintage cloisonné. The base has been fully rewired by a certified electrician using new UL listed parts. Uno socket.
