The lamp base is an antique gem in cast metal. The lamp was fully rewired by a certified electrician using new UL listed parts. The base was hand-painted to complement the shade.
The handstrung beadwork on the shade--totaling over 2,100 pieces—includes faceted Czech crystal beads, vintage French seed beads, and antique bronze metals. The handmade pull chain features Czech beads and a lovely purple agate.
