Pretty in Pink - Spring Victorian Lampshades & Antique Lamps

Victorian Lampshades in Spring Colors

Spring has sprung here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, inspiring the creation of luxury antique lamps and Victorian lampshades with floral motifs and spring color palettes!

Pink is a perennial favorite color for Victorian lampshades at Elegance Lamps because it delivers a soft rosy glow when the lamps are lit. This creates a space that is peaceful and inspiring.  In honor of spring, I leaned into shades of pink with both classical styling and those with Bohemian flair. They sell very quickly so if you would like to commission the creation of a pink Victorian lampshade or lampshade and antique lamp base pairing, please reach out using the form at the bottom of this post.

Elegance Lamps Studio Update - Victorian Lampshades Underway

The studio at Elegance Lamps continues to bustle with activity!  Presently, I have seven Victorian lampshades in “canvas mode” which are ready to be adorned with luxury antique and vintage textiles, These lampshades will feature amazing handstrung beads. In addition, I am adding to sock some custom wireframes in vintage styles modeled after actual vintage lampshade shapes.  Please stay tuned for these wonderful additions to the Elegance Lamps collection.

Update in January 2026

Years have passed since the I made this Victorian lampshade, but one thing remains true. This lampshade continues to be one of my favorite creations. The colorful embroidered vintage textiles paired with the brightly-colored birds is simply captivating. While vintage textiles cannot be replicated, I intend to create another version of this lampshad in a different colorway. Stay tuned for the new version of this lampshade.
