Antique Lamps and Victorian Lampshades

A dark décor masterpiece, the “Batshade” lampshade is a physical manifestation of Gothic inclination. Smothered in rich black velvet and Victorian era embellishments, this one-of-a-kind grandiose piece will haunt your dark landscape with unique style, outstanding color, and delightful shadows.
The handmade silk Victorian lampshade features six stunning cut glass window jewel inserts that when lit, radiate a brooding crimson glow. Adorned with crimson silk, black silk velvet devore, antique silk net lace and a variety of vintage trims. Gloomily dripping with black rayon chainette fringe and crimson beads. Professionally constructed using quality sewing techniques and unending sorrow.

Inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s delightful poem, The Raven, this lamp transports us into a magical world where ravens serve as gatekeepers and key-masters of the realm! This lamp is a handmade work of art for those with a penchant for dark décor or a touch of Steampunk.
The dramatic silk Victorian lampshade is hand-sewn, and features crimson silk, black silk velvet devore, antique silk lace, vintage trims, natural feathers, and delightful hand-embellished embroidered ravens. Both the front and back of the lampshade feature a cameo design.
The vintage lamp base features metalwork scrolls, handsome weight, a handmade pull-chain jewel featuring vintage cloisonné. The lamp base is hand painted by me in deep onyx. Standard socket, pull-chain switching.
