The large Victorian lampshade is created with hand-dyed silk and a magnificent vintage lace featuring sequins, glass beads and metal thread. Colors incorporated into the lampshade include blue, lilac, silver, and gold.

The handstrung bead work includes predominantly Czech crystals, hand-selected and arranged to compliment the detailed work in the lace, and to capture and refract light. The shade holds 2,160 pieces within the bead strands, and hundreds more in the lace detail.
