The lamp base, a lovely antique gem in milk glass, has a base of intricate cast metal lacework supporting a swirling column of gorgeous milk glass in immaculate condition. The lamp was fully rewired by a certified electrician using new UL listed parts. The base is hand-painted in onyx with silver accent. The antique finial repeats the lamp shapes, with columnar solid brass and a white ceramic focal point.

The handstrung beadwork on the shade--totaling over 1,400 pieces—includes opalescent and opaque Czech bicones, silver plated metal beads, antique silk beads from Paris, and fabulous checkerboard coin beads. The handmade pull chain features Czech beads and a lovely, handcrafted tassel in onyx.
