The Asian Garden lamp embodies the beauty and complexity of a hanging floral basket, overflowing with Fuscia flowers, gracefully entwined with delicate blue Lobelia and fresh leaves.
The crescent style shade is enveloped in hand-dyed silk charmeuse. The complimentary side panels are hand dyed pure silk devore, with a rose motif. The center and back panel contain authentic 1900’s Chinese floral motif applique, atop antique hand-dyed floral cotton lace. The shade is fully-lined.
The antique trim on the Asian Garden lamp is gold metal with woven blue ribbon, imported from France. The complimentary hand-strung beadwork includes gold plated metal beads and dazzling Czech crystals in rich jewel-tones. A hand-beaded adornment for the pull-chain mirrors the beadwork.
The shade rests on a hand-painted antique 1920’s cast metal base, stylized with floral accents, and includes a matching hand-painted finial.
Bold, brilliant, and brimming with color, the Asian Garden lamp inspires a playful artistic mood. This one-of-a-kind artifact of lighing art is handmade.
An incandescent boudoir sized bulb is included. All antique restored lamps are wired by a certified electrician using new UL Listed parts.
